• Sep, Runhouse won the first place for the bidding of Wuyi Ecological Plaza, Changsha City, Hunan Province, which has been completed; Ecological prophase exploitation of Runhouse was started.

2001
• March, Chongqing Runhouse Urban Planning and Design Co., Ltd. was formally established
• May, design of Fuling Ecological Sports, Chongqing (40,000m2), it firstly applied CFD wind field simulation technology for early design analysis in the southwest plot – won the first place in the competition bid, which has been completed.
• July, it completed detailed constructive design of Wujin Subzone, Liangping, Chongqing, and detailed constructive design of Yujiang Avenue, Pingjin Town, Liangping, and won the third prize of small town style design, Chongqing 2001. Runhouse firstly won the ministry-level prize.

2002
• May, it completed compilation of general urban planning of Cangxi County, Guangyuan, Sichuan – firstly completed general planning of country town taking ecological conception as the main line.

2003
• July, it completed rebuilding planning of old town plot of Pingjin Town, Liangping, Chongqing, and firstly applied CFD wind field simulation technology in early design analysis of small town renovation, and won the first prize of small town style design in Chongqing.

2004
• March, it successfully translated two books such as “Architecture · Arts · Similarity · Connection” and “Loft Rebuilding and Renovation Design” on invitation of China Building Industry Press.
• May, Chongqing Runhouse Landscape Engineering Design Co., Ltd. Established
• May, Runhouse Organ Website created – www.RHS.com, brand propaganda started.• June, Runhouse firstly put forward the ecological development mechanism of “joint efforts for entrepreneurial platform.

2005
• Apr, it established Chongqing Bendao Network Technology Co., Ltd. and created the urban planning website (www.UPLA.cn).
• June, it successfully translated excellent florilegium of the global architectural master “Mofei · Yang Architects Firm” and “COX Architects Firm” on invitation of China Architectural Industry Press.
• July, Runhouse completed corporation trade mark registration and protection of corporation network domain name.
• July, it introduced office OA informationization system and put forward the conceptual of “construction of integrated enterprise management system and realized primary ecological office.
• August, Runhouse discussed the example of development by using air duct with the two experts Mr. Watanabe HaoWen and Mr. Lai Junming from Japanese National Environment Research Institute.

2006
• May, Runhouse visited construction of eight cities in Australia.
• June, it specially researched urban style of Chongqing and completed the compilation in combination with relevant spirit of socialist new rural areas, which was compiled by Chongqing Runhouse Urban Planning & Design Co., Ltd. “Guide rules for village and town style design” printed and issued by Chongqing Municipal Construction Committee was formally published.
• July, “Urban Planning Network” (www.UPLA.cn) successfully set up portal website of Chinese urban planning industry, which is ranked the first place in urban planning industry. The click rate is ranked first.

2007
• Feb, Runhouse put forward the “Runhouse Business Mode and System” – new management mode, decided the strategic development direction of “Creating Runhouse business mode and long-effect mechanism coexisting with the three systems”, and established the networked organization and Runhouse opened sustainable development platform.
• Apr, International Urban Cultural Association organized seven planning experts from Germany visited Runhouse. Experts from Germany introduced successful rebuilding experience of Ruhr Industrial Zone and discussed rebuilding of old urban industrial zone with Runhouse, and put forward the suggestions of ecological restoration, environment control and economic analysis etc.
• May, Runhouse visited Singapore International Enterprise Bureau, Singapore Urban Area Reconstruction Bureau, Singapore Exchange, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Singapore Housing Development Board and Singapore high tech enterprise – NEWater Plant.
• August, Runhouse visited Canada, and visited international famous Zeidler Partnership Architects, WAA Architectural Landscape Firm, IBI Design Group and Canadian House Mortgage Corporation, and exchanged with famous developer Bentall Corporation, visited the largest IKO roof tile system in the North America and ICYLEN external wall insulation project, and visited Ximengfeisha University Town built recently in the North America (development of green building and sustainable subzone).
• Oct, Fuling District of Chongqing authorized Chongqing Runhouse Urban Planning & Design Co., Ltd. to compile “Planning of Zhongke Modern Agricultural Ecological Park, Fuling District”.
• November, Runhouse compile the planning of the first green space in Chongqing – “Construction Planning of Green Space in Dadukou District”, and obviously pointed out that this planning is different from special planning of the urban planning. From the date of compilation, this planning was paid attention to by relevant Medias from Dadukou District, Chongqing Municipality and the whole country. Governmental website of Dadukou District, Chongqing Municipal Government’s Website, Chongqing Evening News, People’s Network and Xinhua Network etc scores of medias specially reported it.

2008
• June, American BCRA Architectural Design Corporation visited Runhouse.
• July, Runhouse went to Shanghai to visit American MG2 (MULVANNYG2) Architectural Design Corporation, American SAI (SYNTHESIS) Architectural Design Consultation (Shanghai) Corporation, Netherland DHV Engineering Consultation (Shanghai) Corporation and American RTKL Design Corporation.
• Sep, Runhouse went to Dalian to attend the “Annual meeting of Chinese urban planning 2008”. The annual meeting is a large academic exchange meeting held by Chinese Urban Planning Society every year. The theme of this exchange meeting is “urban and rural planning under ecological civilized field of view”.
• Oct, Runhouse went to Taiwan to visit urban construction of Taibei, Gaoxiong, Taidong and Hualian etc, especially Ali Mountain, Sun-moon Lake, Kending and Taroko Gorge etc famous scenic spots and rural ecological tourism.
• Oct, Runhouse exchanged and communicated with Taiwan famous ecological design institution Chen Guangxiong Planning Firm.
• Oct, Runhouse cooperated with British Top Architects Firm MAKE Corporation - one of the five firms appraised as most adored by people in the world in 2008.
• November, Runhouse attended “Sino-UK Sustainable Green Architectural Technological Forum” held by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and Chongqing Municipal Construction Committee, and exchanged with British Fukun Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. and Ancheng Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. famous ecological planning and architectural design corporations.
• November, Runhouse, on invitation of British Consulate to Chongqing, attended international forum of ecological valley of The Thames River and visited about 20 international famous ecological design and consultation etc corporations for two weeks.

2009
• Feb, Runhouse obviously put forward the target of “Ecological design expert” and mission of “Design operation expert”, and held “Management process optimization and green technology finalization forum”, and primarily pointed out its implementation conception and work thinking of ecological planning and green design.
• March, Runhouse formally established its ecological research business department and emphasized on the work function and key point, and further pointed out its relevant policy support and work deployment.
• Apr, general manager of Runhouse is elected as member of International Society of City and Regional Planners.
• May, Runhouse attended the exchange meeting of “Japanese urban planning, highrise and environment protection building decoration design” organized by Association for the Promotion of International Trade, Japan and Chongqing Commission of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. On the meeting, Japanese new technology for earthquake resistance and hazardous reduction in construction engineering was introduced.
• May, Runhouse won the bid for “design of post-disaster reconstruction of Tangjiahe Scenic Spot, and architectural and landscape design of nationwide 4A tourist scenic spot” in Qingchuan, Sichuan.
• July, Runhouse undertook “Landscape design of Ulan Lake Ecological Wetland Park” in Etuoke Banner, Inner Mongolia.
• July, Runhouse attended “International forum of urban development and planning 2009” held in Harbin and widely exchanged on the concept and experience of overseas and domestic urban planning and sustainable development.
• Sep, Runhouse won the international bid for “urban design of Gaofeng Town, Dianjiang” organized by Chongqing Municipal Planning Bureau, which shows Runhouse’s primary achievement on research of green ecological technology.
• Sep, Runhouse attended “Annual meeting of Chinese urban planning 2009” held in Tianjin and visited construction of Zhongxin Ecological Town, Tianjin.
• Oct, the original urban planning network was fully upgraded and amended for formal operation of “low-carbon China” (www.UPLA.cn). The target is to divide the international portal website of Chinese urban and rural ecological construction into four plants including low-carbon planning, low-carbon design, low-carbon technology and low-carbon product. The registered members have reached 130,000.
• November, Runhouse won the international bid for “detailed urban design of central south area of Longgang Cluster, Dazu” organized by Chongqing Municipal Planning Bureau, which fully shows Runhouse’s delectable achievements on application of green ecological conception guiding planning and design and were widely approved in the industry.
• November, Runhouse attended “the first ecological urban development academic conference and founding conference of the Youth Committee” of Ecological Urban Research Professional Committee of Chinese Society for Urban Studies in Dezhou, Shandong, and general manager of Runhouse was elected as vice director of the Youth Committee.
• November, Runhouse visited construction of Caofuidian Ecological Town, Tangshan.
• Dec, Runhouse formally established its International Cooperation Dept.

2010
• March, the first presenter and designer of zero-carbon community in the world – British BioRegional Development Group formally settled in Runhouse to realize cooperative office of two corporations in Chongqing to share resources and learn from each other.
BioRegional Development Group is an independent environment organization from UK, and has successful experience in demonstration, development and operation of innovative sustainable development projects. Its work range includes forestry, bio-energy, papermaking, textile industry, green traffic, green living mode, ecological residence and construction of sustainable development community, of which, some famous projects include the largest British Energy-consumption Community – BedZED, sustainable development strategy of London Olympic Games 2012, operation and product plan of sustainable chain shop of B&Q and construction of global network of sustainable development community of “Living on one earth”.
• March, Runhouse submitted design of the first low-carbon park in the southwest region – poetic park design in Chongqing.
• March, Runhouse attended promotion conference of China – Italy Architectural Association Group.
• March, Runhouse attended international expo of green buildings in China held in Beijing.
